Less Details

As manufacturing facilities become smarter and software-defined, AI agents will not only monitor inventory and identify machine issues to notify staff, but also automatically place orders, negotiate with suppliers, and immediately reroute workflows to other machinery as needed to keep production on course. This session will explore use cases and more, including:

  • How agentic AI can build on the progress already made by manufacturers implementing AI/ML and GenAI on factory floors.
  • How agentic AI can enhance the effectiveness of factory managers, filling critical workforce gaps and leaving fewer open ends between processes.
  • The differences between single-agent and multi-agent solutions, how single agents can be used as test-and-learn solutions, and what kind of orchestrated coordination needs to be in place before a transition to efficient but complex multiagent workflows can happen.
  • How manufacturers must revamp their talent recruitment, training, and retention strategies to maximize the implementation of agentic AI.
